Our sweet twins were born five weeks ago -- perfectly healthy and completely amazing.
Life as a family of seven is somehow both hectic and languid, the way only life with newborns can be. Our older kids are as enthralled with these new little lives as we are and our days pass slowly as we all try to savour this short sweet season of babyhood. My floors are unswept. My laundry is not folded. And I am okay with that. Sort of.
But alas it is time for us trade our lazy days in for routine, at least some of the time. Time to sweep the floors and fold the laundry. And blog, when I get a chance. So while I have every intention of jumping in with both feet and blogging regularly, I'm sure that my lovely readers will understand if blog postings are intermittent at times.
Thank you for reading my blog. And a very special thank you to the readers who sent me words of encouragement and gentle prodding emails telling me to get my butt in gear and start blogging again.
Please stay tuned! This week I have some awesome links to share, a tip for keeping kiddos cool in the summer heat, and maybe some crafty projects too. And if i fail to post anything at all you'll know it's because I'm doing something really important...like cuddling a baby. (Or two.)
