My 2 year old answering the question "Where's the baby?" |
...we're having a GIRL!
I love finding out the gender of the baby. Personally I enjoy the remainder of the pregnancy so much more when I know my babies name. I feel like I already know her a little bit. And in only 21 more weeks (give or take) I'll be holding her in my arms!
Thank you so much to all of you who have rejoiced with us over this pregnancy, encouraged and blessed me with kind words of congratulations, and prayed for me in that first trimester when I felt wretched. I appreciate it.
I'll be back next week with some organizing and cleaning posts, but today I am going to tackle piles of laundry and try to figure out how to fit my air mattress back in its box.
In the mean time, here are some fun photos from our camping trip.
Thanks so much for visiting The Complete Guide to Imperfect Homemaking!
Congratulations!!!! I only have 1 girl and she is he apple of my eye! Tho I wouldn't trade my 4 boys for anything!!!!!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing your pregnancy with us! so exciting!
ReplyDeleteCongratulation on you newest little girl that's coming. Wow, camping with baby twins! My twins are a year old and while we definitely get out and do a lot I can't imagine camping. We are going camping labor day though.. Any tips?
ReplyDeleteHey, congrats! I am right at 19 weeks too! It is our second and we have decided (for now) not to find out the gender...we'll see how far we get with that.
ReplyDeleteAnd another girl, how precious :)
congratulations! I'm so impressed you are going camping! We have 4 kids and our youngest being 3 1/2 months old and are planing to go camping in August. The fam is super excited, but I'm already doing self therapy to survive the camping trip ;) LOL.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!! I love finding out at the halfway point also! I like to pick the name right away...and then just be in wonder that God knew it all along!! :)
ReplyDeletea girl!!..congrats..that is so exciting :)..where did you guys go camping? your photos are great and it looks like you had a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteWe went to Bonnechere Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. :)
Deletecamping with 5 kids, 2 of whom are infants??? you are my hero!!!! supermamma!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha. Thanks :)
Deletecongrats! I'm one week ahead of you with #2 (20 weeks today!) and we find out the gender on monday. just like you I can't wait to "name" the baby and start really planning. it's such a fun time of life!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your sweet baby girl. But, I have to know...are those potatoes on the grill? How does that work?! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe cut them up and wrap them in foil with oil and salt and cook over the camp fire while we cook the bacon and eggs, and then we toss the potatoes on a griddle that fits our campstove with some of the bacon grease to finish them off and give them crispy edges! We've made them entirely on the griddle before (if we're too lazy to start a fire in the morning), but that takes much longer.
Deletecongratulations on having a girl!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on on the wee girl!! We find out next Thursday about our 2nd!! Camping looks like it was fun! And i just wanted to say that your blog is a complete Inspiration!!! And thanks so much for sharing your amazing ideas!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!
ReplyDeletecongrats on the girl! I hope to find out what I'm having soon. I'm 15 and a half weeks but it seems so far away!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finding out it will be a little girl! You look like you all had so much fun camping!
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling and so happy for you. Congratulations and all the best to you and your beautiful family. You're an inspiration. Love, Ieva
ReplyDeleteAww congrats! The first picture is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI'm going for my ultrasound today (I'm 18 weeks) and we are going to try to find out the gender this time. With our last baby the hospital had a new policy where they wouldn't tell the gender.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm 21 weeks, and having boy #3, (we have 2 boys, & 4 girls already, 3 with us, 1 in heaven) we've been camping in algonquin the past couple years. kids and hubby are trying to convince me we should go this summer, but i find it to be so much work getting everything ready! any advice on how to make packing less stressful?
ReplyDeleteHi Jordan! I'm not sure what tips I can offer except to make a good master list of what you need and keep meals reasonably simple. It is alot of work, but I think it's worth it! Also, I think that camping with a lot of kids is easier at a smaller park where things like showers and laundry and play parks are all within walking distance from the campsite. We really like Bonnechere Provincial Park in the Ottawa Valley. I'm not brave enough to tackle Algonquin until the kids are much older! :)
DeleteNew lurker:) Congrats on the pregnancy. We have 6 sweet children. They are such a blessing:) Hope God will add more to our brood:) Keep up the work you are doing!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this, it's a good idea. Anything to make outings less stressful and not having to search for that one random thing...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!! We're expecting baby #4, and your blog has been such an encouragement to me as I look forward to keeping my home while dealing with 4 children undoing all my hard work:)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!
