This week's weekend grace is to greet our loved ones with a welcome message upon returning home from work or school or errands or wherever. Because it's nice to be missed, right?
For me, that meant helping the kids make a greeting for daddy with dry-erase markers on the window of the front door. But construction paper or a simple post it note would work just as well.
Have a fabulous weekend!
Awww- I love this idea! THANKS!!
ReplyDeleteThat's really sweet!

ReplyDeleteHi Kelly,
ReplyDeleteI don't contribute much in comments but I'm a big reader and fan of your blog!
No articles in the last 9 days? Is everything OK?
Take care :)
Hi LilMum! Thanks for asking. We've been battling the flu here and blogging dropped to the bottom of my priority list for a bit. New posts are coming!! :)
DeleteSorry about the flu and happy to see you back :)
DeleteI love your blog, I will check every day to see, if you publish something new! The post has been my favorite carrot cake for Valentine's Day! Continue posting!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to have stumbled across your blog. When I read your post about not selling your home & instead opting to live simpler, that really inspired me to get rid of the junk in our lives. I can't say that we're even half way there, but can say we are on the right track. I have to remind myself daily that we don't need this, or that, & can say that we are not any less happy for it. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteIf you don't have dry-erase markers, you can also add dishsoap to regular tempera paint and paint all over the windows. When you're ready, just use a wet sponge or cloth and it just soaps up and washes off!
