{OrganizedHome} Day 23: Pretty Tidy Desks

During the last few days of this blog series we've talked about how to organize some of the things that lead to office/desk clutter.  We've discussed:

Enough work, I think it's about time we drooled over some organizational eye candy....office and desk edition!

A neatly organized desk doesn't mean it needs to be cleared off completely.  Just that everything has a home. A place for everything and everything in it's place!

If you're tight on space, you can create an office nook in a closet or a corner of your living room.

All these pretty desks are making me half-wish I hadn't sold my desk on Kijiji for 40 bucks.   Sometimes I just start getting rid of stuff.  It's like a compulsion...I'm an anti-hoarder.  They should make a show about people like me. Professionals could come in and teach me how not to throw all my crap away.

Is it just me or is that last one so beautiful it makes you want to cry?  Seriously.

Just me?  I might be a tad hormonal...

[This is day 23 of a series called 31 days to an Organized Home.  Thanks for visiting!]

  3. Ever notice how most desks have computers with no messy wiring? I would like to know how to hide them, I have wires dangling everywhere. :)

  4. I'm an antihoarder too! I thought I was the only one. Just this week I'm contemplating getting rid of three pieces of furniture and replacing them with one. Except I love all three pieces and I know one day, when I have a bigger house, I'll wish for those back. But that wont stop me from getting rid of them... just you watch.

  5. Omg, i laughed out loud when i read your line, "It's like a compulsion...I'm an anti-hoarder. They should make a show about people like me. Professionals could come in and teach me how not to throw all my crap away."

I am the same way...seriously, every time someone comes over, i think of all the things I could possibly give them, just to get it out of the house. :)

  7. You are hilarious! I love your posts. The anti-hoarder diagnosis is perfect! I, too am an anti-hoarder, and proud of it, MOST of the time. My daughter begging me NOT to sell her bed on Craigslist was not one of my proudest moments...
