Allowed Use of the Service:
The content on Imperfect Homemaking, including the site, is meant for personal, non-commercial use. All materials published or available on the Service, such as text, images, audio, and video clips, are protected by copyright and owned or controlled by Imperfect Homemaking or the credited party. Imperfect Homemaking also holds copyright in the selection, coordination, compilation, and enhancement of such content (“Arrangement”). Please adhere to additional copyright notices, information, or restrictions in any accessed content.
Non-commercial use excludes the use of content without prior written consent from Imperfect Homemaking for:
- The development of any software program, including training machine learning or artificial intelligence (AI) systems.
- Providing archived or cached datasets containing content to another entity.

Imperfect Homemaking takes no responsibility for User Content posted by you or any third party. While Imperfect Homemaking does not actively monitor User Content, it reserves the right to remove, screen, or edit User Content without notice. You are responsible for creating backups and replacing any User Content at your cost.
Modification and Adaptation:
We may modify or adapt User Content for transmission, display, or distribution over networks and media. Changes may be made to conform and adapt Content to network, device, service, or media requirements or limitations.
Viewability and Sharing:
Your User Content will be viewable by other users and through third-party services and websites. Only provide User Content you are comfortable sharing under these Terms.

Your License to Imperfect Homemaking
Granting a License:

Additional Uses:

Service Usage Guidelines:
While accessing or using the Service, you must not:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or the promotion of illegal activities.

Imperfect Homemaking and its partners disclaim any warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make no warranty regarding completeness, accuracy, availability, timeliness, security, or reliability of the Service or any content.
No Responsibility for Harm:
Imperfect Homemaking will not be responsible or liable for any harm to your computer system, loss of data, or other harm resulting from your access to or use of the Service or any Content. We disclaim responsibility for the deletion of, or failure to store or transmit, any Content and other communications maintained by the Service. No warranty is made that the Service will meet your requirements or be available on an uninterrupted, secure, or error-free basis. Any advice or information obtained from Imperfect Homemaking or through the Service does not create any warranty not expressly made herein.
Disclaimer of Warranty; Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Imperfect Homemaking and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use the Service.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service, including defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct.
- Any content obtained from the Service.
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
This limitation applies whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if Imperfect Homemaking has been informed of the possibility of such damage. Even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

If anyone brings a claim against us related to your actions or content on the Service, or actions or content by or from someone using your account, you will indemnify and hold us harmless from all damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and costs, related to such claim.

B. Limitation of Liability:
- In no event will Imperfect Homemaking be liable for any damages, including indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Imperfect Homemaking’s maximum total liability to the user for any reason and upon any cause of action shall be limited to direct damages not to exceed the greater of the price, if any, paid by the user for access to ImperfectHomemaking.com or 25 dollars ($25.00).

- Imperfect Homemaking does not intend any references to entities, products, or services in the content or any links on ImperfectHomemaking.com to be endorsements of such entities, products, or services.
- Imperfect Homemaking is not affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by any other consumer product rating service.
Third Party Beneficiaries — Medical Contributions: All Imperfect Homemaking content authors, including Kelleigh Beckett, and Imperfect Homemaking users who provide answers to medical questions, are intended third-party beneficiaries of this section. The Content and answers on this site are provided for informational purposes only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Imperfect Homemaking disclaims all warranties, either express or implied.
In no event shall Imperfect Homemaking or any Medical Contributor be liable for any damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the Site or the Content. This includes personal injury, death, lost profits, or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption. Neither Imperfect Homemaking nor the Medical Contributors are liable for any personal injury, including death, caused by your use or misuse of the Site or Content. Imperfect Homemaking does not monitor or control the content posted by users via the Service, and the answers and messages created by Medical Contributors are their sole creation and responsibility. The completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any answers or messages posted by Medical Contributors are not endorsed or guaranteed by Imperfect Homemaking.
Proprietary Rights
All right, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding User Content) are and will remain the exclusive property of Imperfect Homemaking and its licensors. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and/or other countries for storage, processing, and use by Imperfect Homemaking.

About These Terms
These Terms constitute the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof, and supersede all previous written or oral agreements between the parties with respect to such subject matter. These shall be construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. No waiver by either party of any breach or default hereunder shall be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default. The section headings used herein are for convenience only and shall not be given any legal import.
We may modify these terms or any additional terms that apply to a Service to, for example, reflect changes to the law or changes to our Services. You should look at the terms regularly. We’ll post notice of modifications to these terms on this page. We’ll post notice of modified additional terms in the applicable Service. Changes will not apply retroactively and will become effective no sooner than fourteen days after they are posted. If it turns out that a particular term is not enforceable, this will not affect any other terms.
Arbitration
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or use of the Service, with the exception of injunctive relief sought by Imperfect Homemaking for any violation of Imperfect Homemaking’s proprietary rights, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the then-current rules of the Canadian Arbitration Association. Before entering into arbitration, the parties shall each appoint an arbitrator, and these two arbitrators shall select a third arbitrator to be a member of the panel. Should the two arbitrators not be able to agree on a choice of the third, then the Canadian Arbitration Association shall make the appointment of the third arbitrator, and it shall be someone who is neutral to the parties. None of the arbitrators shall be officers or employees of the parties to this Agreement. Such arbitrators shall be natural persons and shall be experts in the computer/information technology field. The cost of arbitration, including fees per arbitrator, shall be borne equally by the parties. The location of arbitration shall be decided by the website’s owner.
